Our Program
OUR PROGRAM
Waldorf Based Education:
​
The Earth Keepers school is a Waldorf based educational program for Early Childhood ages 3 to 6 yrs. Our program offers developmentally appropriate curriculum that endeavors to engage each child mind, body and spirit, supporting their growth naturally. In our program art and nature both will be integrated into all academics as the foundation for learning. Although we are Waldorf based, we are also unique in our approach educational understanding.
Nature Based Education:

The Little Earth Keepers school is focused on
being in authentic awareness to ourselves and
the natural environment. We support the
instinctual development of children, providing
them with real work and play. They will learn
how to use tools safely, be around a fire
​
respectfully, and explore our wild property with
​
awareness.
We will also harvest wild foods
when in season and occasionally use those
foods in our meals (such as acorns, nettles,
cleavers, and minors lettuce).

Cultural Enrichment:
Our school welcomes diversity, cultural awareness, and environmental awareness. We welcome any community members that want to help grow this aspect of the program.

Our Current Projects:
Enhancing our Gardens
Although we have nice garden spaces, it is our desire to have a beautiful and flourishing garden with lots of delicious edibles. With your support, as parents, we can manifest an inviting edible feast to our educational space.
We are also seeking an individual who would like to build some garden boxes.
The Little Earth Keepers
The Little Earth Keepers is formatted to offer after school programs that are backed by community educators and community members who are passionate about being in service to the greater good of our community and children. These programs will be operated as an extension of the Little Earth Keepers, yet it is separate from our early childhood program.
